Cooper River

Great day on Cooper River...caught one 14" Speckled Trout and hung two more that were too small to keep..caught two Sea Robins as well...released those of course...friend caught a flounder...day was accented by watching one or two dolphins jumping completely out of the water just ahead of the nose of a huge barge...

4th of July

...went out with friends boating on the 4th...swam all over the place..off a few islands including James Island (where we also grilled burgers complete with a few sand grains) and in the creek behind Sullivans Island and Isle of Palms...knocked out one of my coastal initiations by accidentally stepping near a blue crab in the water and getting my foot grabbed...topped it off with fireworks and drinks at the dock at Shem Creek (plenty of dolphins at Shem)..unfortunately no pics but I'll grab some eventually..
